EPAM Cloud Pipeline is a cloud-based environment that provides the ability to build and run the customized scripts and workflows that support genomics analysis, modeling and simulation. As genomic data analysis software it relies on machine learning activities that are required to accelerate patient treatment, clinical trials and drug discovery research.

This genomic analysis software wraps cloud computing and storage resources into a single service, providing an easy and scalable approach to accomplish a wide range of scientific tasks. The main features include:

  • Data processing: Create data processing pipelines (workflow scripts) and run them in the cloud

  • Data storage management: Store and manage files

  • Tools management: Create and deploy shared and personal computation environments using Docker’s container concept

I'm not a particularly tech-savvy person, so I was really happy when Cloud Pipeline was introduced to our project as genomic analysis software. It made the cloud accessible to people like me who don't have a lot of technical knowledge.
