Solution Overview

KubeRocketCI (a.k.a. EPAM Delivery Platform) is an orchestrated combination of enterprise software engineering methodologies, architectural frameworks, and development processes & tools. The solution synchronizes and streamlines the many steps that are key to success of enterprise software development projects. This software delivery platform consists of:

  • A stable Kubernetes version of the platform (OpenShift, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google Cloud Kubernetes)

  • Development and testing toolset

  • Well-established engineering processes and EPAM practices (EngX)

  • CI/CD pipelines and delivery analytics

There are two main options for deploying KubeRocketCI:

  • KubeRocketCI as a Dedicated Cluster: This option lets you use the KubeRocketCI codebase and methodology for your project

  • KubeRocketCI as a Service: This option lets you use OpenShift and EKS clusters, create your own tenant and start work with the out-of-the-box platform eliminating administrative efforts for end users. KubeRocketCI is an open platform distributed under the Apache 2.0 license

KubeRocketCI (ex-EDP) is an innovative multi-cloud solution with reliable infrastructure where correct approach leads to correct realization. KubeRocketCI provides well-becoming architecture on top of Kubernetes, thus allowing to get rid of the vendor lock-in, providing a specific infrastructure, running a CI/CD process on any infrastructure where Kubernetes can be installed. Although KubeRocketCI can be deployed on OpenShift, it is an alternative to the application development approach that enables migration from one Kubernetes vendor to another. KubeRocketCI architecture implies customization with replaceable and expandable components
